Description

In addition to providing a thorough grounding in anthropological theory and research methods as a preparation for professional careers and/or continuing study at the PhD level, our program produces graduates with sufficient depth and breadth of outlook to meet the need for resourcefulness, versatility and adaptability in modern society. Areas of strength within the MSc program include: stable isotopes, bioarchaeology, maritime (underwater archaeology), environmental archaeology, medical anthropology, and zooarchaeology. Regional areas of emphasis include: South America, Ontario, Atlantic Canada, Mesoamerica, Europe, and Southwest Asia.
