Graduate Diploma Type 1
On the approval of the program, a Graduate Diploma can be awarded when a candidate admitted to a masters program leaves the program after completing a prescribed proportion of the requirements. Students are not admitted directly to these programs. In order to qualify for graduation, the student must obtain a final grade of at least 70% (B+) in the required courses.

Materials Science Graduate Diploma requirements:
0.5 credit in MTSC 6000H
1.0 elective credits, with minimum one of the following: MTSC 6012H, MTSC 6020H or MTSC 6140H
Completion of program research milestones, as outlined by the graduate program
Anthropological Studies Graduate Diploma requirements:
1.0 credit in: ANTH 5500Y
1.0 credit in: ANTH 5000Y, ANTH 5050Y or ANTH 5100Y
Completion of 1.0 additional 5000 level course(s)
Only open to students that have completed at least 2.0 years full time (or full time equivalent) in the Anthropology MA or MSc graduate program
