Graduate Diploma Type 1


On the approval of the program, a Graduate Diploma can be awarded when a candidate admitted to a masters program leaves the program after completing a prescribed proportion of the requirements. Students are not admitted directly to these programs. In order to qualify for graduation, the student must obtain a final grade of at least 70% (B+) in the required courses.

Anthropology MA/MSc

Requirements

Materials Science Graduate Diploma requirements:

  • 0.5 credit in MTSC 6000H

  • 1.0 elective credits, with minimum one of the following: MTSC 6012H, MTSC 6020H or MTSC 6140H

  • Completion of program research milestones, as outlined by the graduate program

Anthropological Studies Graduate Diploma requirements:

  • 1.0 credit in: ANTH 5500Y

  • 1.0 credit in: ANTH 5000Y, ANTH 5050Y or ANTH 5100Y

  • Completion of 1.0 additional 5000 level course(s)

  • Only open to students that have completed at least 2.0 years full time (or full time equivalent) in the Anthropology MA or MSc graduate program
