Description

The Specialization in Natural History is designed for students who wish to gain a comprehensive understanding of biodiversity, and the many ways in which organisms interact with their environment. This knowledge underpins many aspects of ecology and conservation biology and is relevant to a wide range of careers in various governmental agencies, environmental consultancies, parks, conservation authorities, NGOS, museums, herbaria, zoos, outdoor education centres, ecotourism, and other arenas.

Students who have fulfilled the requirements for a single- or joint-major Honours degree in Biology may graduate with a Specialization in Natural History if they have successfully completed the following 4.5 credits:
