Description

The Specialization in Climate Change is open to students in the Environmental & Resource Science/Studies (BA, BSc, BESS) or Geography (BA, BSc) degree programs.

The specialization offers a career-focused stream for students interested in both the scientific and policy aspects of climate change.

Students who have fulfilled the requirements for a single- or joint-major degree in Environmental & Resource Studies (Bachelor of Arts), Environmental & Resource Science (Bachelor of Science), Geography (Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science), or a Bachelor of Environmental Science/Studies degree may graduate with a Specialization in Climate Change if they have successfully completed the following 4.0 credits:

  • 0.5 ERSC-GEOG credit consisting of ERSC-CLIM-GEOG 1060H

  • 3.0 ERSC/T or GEOG credits from ERSC-GEOG 2180H, ERSC 2300H, ERSC-GEOG 2401H, 2320H, ERST 3501H,

    3502H, 3590H, ERST-GEOG 4140H, GEOG 2460H, 3440H, or 3470H

  • 0.5 ERSC/T credit from ERSC 3810H, 2100H, 3551H, 4330H, or ERST 4610H
