Exclusive to Trent University Durham GTA, this program prepares students for long and satisfying careers in a variety of fields including public and media relations, business communication, social media strategy, project management, fundraising, and event management. Communications encourages students to develop and refine durable and transferable skills, prized by a variety of employers. The program features courses in strategic communication, project management, writing, research, public speaking, and numeracy. With a core group of Communications courses and a range of relevant selections from other programs, a Communications degree helps students to become creative, logical, and integrative thinkers and expert communicators.
